Defending champ Somers rounding back into form

After a slow start to the 2024 season, the Somers girls soccer team is scorching entering the midway point of the season.

The Tuskers won their fourth straight on Tuesday, defeating John Jay-Cross River, 3-0, to improve to 5-2 on the season. They currently sit in fifth overall in a very crowded pool of contenders in the Section 1 Class A Bracketology standings on GameDayOne.com.

Tiana Righetti had two goals for the Tuskers and Julia Arbelaez added a goal and an assist in the win. Lindsay Ulaj and Kate Hanford both an assist for Somers.
