Ardsley girls lock up No. 1 seed, stay hot entering Section 1 playoffs

The Ardsley girls basketball team closed the season on Saturday by posting their most impressive win of 2025.

Joie Levy scored a game-high 17 points and fellow senior Iva Coluka controlled the interior on both ends, posting 11 points, in a 41-34 win over Tappan Zee in a rematch of last year’s playoff quarterfinals.

Playoff Schedule: Section 1 Basketball

Ardsley (17-3) locked up the No. 1 seed in Class A with the victory while Tappan Zee, the No. 3 projected seed in Class AA, closed the regular season 14-6.

Sacred Heart University commit Kristen Phelan led Tappan Zee with 15 points.
