Eastchester's Biancardi stands out on and off the court to earn ConEdison Scholar Athlete of the Week Award

Deanna Biancardi has become a familiar face to Eastchester High School sports fans. The three-sport senior has been a 5 year starter and 3 year captain of the girls basketball team, not to mention being a member of the soccer team as well as an All-Section receiver with over 1,000 yards in 2024. We believe we can safely say, she is the first female in Section 1 history to have a 1,000 yard receiving season and 1,000 points in a basketball career.

As incredible as her varsity career at Eastchester has been, Biancardi has left an indelible impact on all areas of the community. She has spearheaded multiple fundraisers for cancer awareness, organizes senior citizen events and volunteers extensively with the EHS unified sports program. Deanna’s exceptional leadership qualities are evidenced by her position as Executive Director of the school’s Student Athletic Council, as well as officer positions in multiple clubs.

Biancardi is also a high honors student, with an incredibly impressive list of achievements and awards including the 2024 Rochester Institute of Technology Women in STEM Award. She carries nearly a 95 average while handling a course load of four AP classes as a senior. A true role model for young athletes, congratulations to Deanna on taking home the ConEdison Scholar Athlete of the Week Award!
