Young Bronxville squad beats Pleasantville, earns berth in girls lacrosse title game

Despite only a trio of seniors on the roster, the Bronxville girls are a win away from a Section 1 girls lacrosse championship.

The third-seeded Broncos went on the road on Tuesday and beat another youthful roster, defeating Pleasantville 6-5 in the Class D semifinals. Sophomore Mabel Arrighi scored the game-winner with just over six minutes to play, holding off a fourth-quarter comeback by the Panthers and eighth-grader Maddie Becerra.
