Bell's fourth quarter earns "5 Stars of Week" recognition in girls basketball

Saniya Bell ignited a furious Ossining fourth-quarter comeback last week in a win over Clarkstown South, earning the standout senior one of the “5 Stars of the Week” nods from GameDay One.

Bell scored 19 of her 35 points in the fourth quarter, which highlighted a huge week for her and the Pride. She is joined by recent 1,000-point scorer Amari Murphy of Peekskill, Sela Halaifonua of John Jay-Cross River, Julia Scott of Albertus Magnus, and Paige Tepedino of Rye earn this week’s awards.
