Fox Lane captures 2-1 road win at White Plains

Shots and goals were difficult to come by yesterday as Fox Lane and White Plains combined for a total of only 6 shots on goal in a 2-1 for the visiting Foxes. The Foxes win and the Ursuline against Mamaroneck tightens the top 5 in Class AA, with Fox Lane creeping towards a top 4 seed.

Madison Kalarchian and Samantha Reder netted the two goals for the Foxes, while Abby Locovare added an assist. Goaltender Kayla Santos held White Plains to one goal on four shots.

Alexis Tighe, the reigning Lohud Girls Softball Westchester/Putnam Player of the Year scored the one goal for White Plains, which was assisted by McKenna Austin. Goalie Abby Arndt added 3 saves for the Tigers.
