Congratulations to Harrison girls lacrosse standout @lila.berkery for earning the ConEdison Scholar Athlete of the Week Award.
Lila Berkery has been a member of @harrisonglax since 8th grade, serving as team captain the last two seasons. The senior has earned All-League and All-Section the last two years and recently scored her 200th goal
Berkery has been active in her community throughout her high school career, acting as President of the Youth to Youth Club as well as a board member on the Relay for Life. She has also been heavily involved in peer tutoring and youth lacrosse and field hockey in Harrison.
In the classroom, Berkery carries a heavy course load of six college or advanced level classes, earning the rank of Summa cum Laude, the highest academic honor at Harrison HS.
She’ll be continuing her academic and lacrosse career at Division 1 Fairfield University in the fall.
