Health For the Aging Athlete with KDJ, Matt Bernstein and White Plains Hospital

White Plains Hospital was the first organization to forge a partnership with GameDayOne.com and is deeply committed to supporting the high school athletes, families, schools and communities in the lower Hudson Valley.

A key focus of our partnership with White Plains Hospital is on the health of wellness, not just of the athletes we promote but the communities we serve.

Today we center our discussion around the “aging athletes” in the region, whether you played professionally, in college or at the varsity level. The importance of staying active and exercising cannot be understated — as is understanding how to protect your body while doing it.

Today, we’re excited to launch our first video of 2025, featuring KDJ with WPH Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Steven Andelman and Section 1 and Wisconsin football legend Matt Bernstein.

The group discusses how former athletes find a routine, how genetics play a role in athletic health, and the options that White Plains Hospital can provide if issues arise.

Please watch, share, like and engage with the video and our social posts. Supporting our partners helps keep GameDayOne.com running and we cannot thank our friends at White Plains Hospital enough for their passion and commitment to local sports.

Special thanks to D1 Armonk for the use of their incredible space.
