Ursuline star Sophie Nascimento as she has her team off to a strong start. Nascimento is signed to play at Sacred Heart University.
Another Sacred Heart commit, Kristen Phelan of Tappan Zee, is also a “5 Star” recipient this week after taking her team to a 4-0 start.
Taylor Green of Pelham has her team at 5-0. Lottia Barnes has Suffern at 3-0, highlighted by her buzzer-beating 3 pointer to defeat Pearl River. And the final star was split between a pair of recent 1,000-point scorers in Julia Scott of Albertus Magnus and Kendall Konigsberg of Blind Brook.

Albertus Magnus’s junior phenom, and one of our GameDay One ELITE selections last year, Julia Scott was chosen by the Lower Hudson Basketball Coaches Association as the top player of the 2024-2025 season. Last year Scott was named the 2023-24 Rockland Girls Basketball Player of the Year. She is no stranger to big awards and is currently listed as the 37th ranked player in the class of 2026 according to ESPN. The 4 star recruit led the Falcons in scoring with 26.5 points per game 17 rebounds per game and 3 blocks. ...
