Lakeland field hockey shakes off loss, beats rival Panas

The Lakeland field hockey team doesn’t lose much. But the Hornets showed on Monday the type of resolve the section’s winningest program has.

Lakeland followed up Saturday’s loss at Mamaroneck with a convincing 9-0 win over Panas at home under the lights on Monday night.

Riley Waters had three goals and an assist and Gabby Santini posted two goals and three assists in the win. Kiera Galagher had a goal and two assists while Anna Lemma and Victoria Myniv both scored and Gianna Santini and Meaghan Heyda recorded an assist.
