Pleasantville scores late equalizer to secure 2-2 draw at Blind Brook

Pleasantville found themselves playing from behind for most of yesterday’s match at unbeaten Blind Brook. Trojans senior captain Nico Palacios kicked off the scoring early in the first with an impressive run down the right side and a finish with a tough angle shot past the keeper. The Panthers managed to tie the game at 1-1 early in the second half, only to go back down shortly after on a Palacios PK goal.

Blind Brook would hold the 2-1 lead until about 10 minutes left in the game when Pleasantville’s Jonah Agern would find the net to tie it at 2.

After yesterday’s draw, the Trojans remain one of only two unbeaten programs in Section 1 along with Byram Hills. Blind Brook currently sits in the 2nd spot in the Class B standings while Pleasantville remains in 4th in Class A.
