Somers took care of business at home on Tuesday with a 15-9 win over Byram Hills. The Tuskers were lead by Towson commit, Mac Sullivan’s six goals and two assists.
Notre Dame commit Miguel Iglesias continued to show why he’s one of the top players in the class of 2025, finding the net twice and dishing out six assists.
The win puts Somers at 11-1 and jumps them into the No. 1 spot in our Class B Bracketology standings over No. 2 Yorktown. Find the latest Bracketology standings on GameDayOne here.
The Tuskers are unbeaten in Section 1 play this season with their only loss this season came at the hands of NYSSWA Class B No. 1 ranked team, South Side of Long Island. Yorktown and Somers don’t play in the regular season, but these two seem destined to fight it out for the Class B title.
The schedule for Somers is a gauntlet down the stretch that should help them get sharp for the postseason. Their last four games are against Class A No. 3 Greeley, Class D favorite Pleasantville, and the top two ranked teams in Class C, John Jay-CR and Rye, in the final two weeks.
