Westlake takes down Putnam Valley for back to back victories

The Westlake boys basketball team followed up their first two losses of the season by getting back on track with a pair of victories.

Marcus Jackette posted another strong performance, scoring 14 points to lead the Wildcats to a 62-53 win at home over Putnam Valley.

Jackette, a junior, was following up his best effort of the season where he scored 30 points with 17 rebounds and six steals in a win over Irvington on Friday.

Logan Moriarty led Put Valley 26 points and James Apostolico added 15 points and 10 assists.
