For the second year in a row, Peekskill beat Poughkeepsie in the Section 1 Class AA quarterfinals at home, earning a spot back at the Westchester County Center. Sofia Tavarez scored 20 points and Cadence Nicholas added 19 as two-time Section 1 champion Panas beat Nyack in the Section 1 Class AA quarterfinals on Thursday. It was the final home game for Panas seniors Tavarez, Nicholas, Katie Hofmann, Jill Cinquina, Kiara Williams, Giuliana Rodriguez and Emily Jankowski. The group has won over 100 games in their career, a pair of Gold Balls and the 2023 state title.

The Hen Hud girls are headed back to the Westchester County Center following Tuesday's heart-pounding 52-50 win over visiting Pearl River. The third-seeded Sailors got a massive go-ahead 3-pointer in the final minute from Kayla McCarthy to beat No. 6 Pearl River in a Class A quarterfinal matchup.
