Media Day: North Rockland Looks Primed to Compete for AA Crown

North Rockland and the rest of Class AA have had to watch Carmel take home the title the last three years, but the Raiders return a core of skill players that has Coach James Hickey believing they can bring the crown back across the river this season.

Senior Javon Lawrence has already committed to Syracuse and is one of the top defensive backs in the state. One of the more dynamic athletes in the section, Lawrence also plays receiver and excels at Track, holding school records in the 100M, 200M and 4x100M relay races.
