After winning just two games last season, the returning players on the Ardsley boys soccer team knew it was time for a change. The Panthers intended to put the necessary time into training throughout the offseason. It was going to require time. And a little bit of money.
The Panthers had a plan: Improve their play. And improve their look.
To enter the Lakeland Summer League and purchase the new uniforms they coveted, the players had to fundraise, which they did by hosting a series of camps and clinics for local youth in Ardsley.
Now, the Panthers are enjoying the fruits of their labor.
