Hen Hud girls win second straight, outlasting Lakeland on the road

The Hen Hud girls soccer team rebounded from a tough start to the season, winning on Wednesday for the second game in a row to even their record to 2-2-1.

The Sailors edged Lakeland, 3-2, on the road behind a pair of goals from Liv Johnsen. Eleni Schattman added the other goal and Kiely Morley had an assist.

Hen Hud had beaten Yonkers HS on Monday for its first win of 2024.

Kayleigh Mula scored both goals for Lakeland.
