Ursuline's Ivana Richards earns the ConEdison Scholar Athlete of the Week Award

Congratulations to the ConEdison Scholar Athlete of the Week Award winner Ivana Richards, of Ursuline High School.

Ivana Richards has established herself as one of the top indoor track performers in New York State, ranking at No. 1 in the 55M hurdles in Westchester and No. 10 in NYS, and No. 2 in Westchester and No. 19 in NYS in the Triple Jump.

Richards recently put the Koalas on her back in the Section 1 championships, scoring 24 of 43 points to lead Ursuline to the Class A title.

When she’s not running and jumping around the track, Richards has displayed an incredible balance between athletics, education and community service.

The National Honor Society member holds multiple leadership positions across school, church and charitable organizations as well as being a ten year classically trained pianist.

Ivana will be continuing her track and academic career at Syracuse University next fall.

Congratulations to Ivana on a tremendous season and career!
