Bronxville cruises again, beats Byram Hills to get to 3-0

Bronxville isn’t just a contender in Class B this season in Section 1. After Friday night, it’s clear the Broncos are the favorite.

The reigning Class C champions went on the road and posted another dominant victory, defeating Byram Hills 33-0 behind three Davis Patterson touchdowns.

In three wins this season over Pleasantville, Pelham and Byram Hills, Bronxville has outscored opponents by 100-10 margin.

Patterson got the offense rolling early last night, needing only two carries to convert a 48-yard touchdown drive, which he capped with a 16-yard score. On the next series, he ran in a 6-yard touchdown, and then had a 10-yarder in the second quarter as Bronxville took a 20-0 lead at the half.

Bronxville’s Theo McMurray, a sophomore quarterback, hit Thomas Freeman for a touchdown strike to break the game open in the third.

Now at 3-0, Bronxville sits atop the Class B standings entering next Saturday’s matchup with Ardsley.
