Back on Top: Iona Prep reclaims CHSFL title

Iona Prep’s mission to take over the New York Catholic football league took a resounding step forward on Saturday as the Gaels completed a dominant sweep through the conference.

Crew Davis ran for 222 yards and four touchdowns to guide Iona Prep to a commanding 43-22 victory over St. Anthony’s in the NYCHSFL AAA Division title game at Mitchel Field in Uniondale.

Iona Prep remained unbeaten in CHSFL play for the season, beating St. Anthony’s for the second time and posting another lopsided playoff victory.
