Byram Hills hoops standout Zach Efobi is this week's ConEdison Scholar Athlete of the Week Award winner

Congratulations to Zach Efobi of Byram Hills basketball for earning this week’s Con Edison Scholar Athlete of the Week Award.

Zach Efobi has been a key fixture on Byram Hills’ back-to-back Class A Boys Basketball championship teams the last two years. Efobi has been one of the most dominant forces in the paint in Section 1 basketball over the last two seasons, consistently throwing down highlight reel dunks, blocking shots into the crowd and posting 20 rebound performances.

Off the court, Efobi also has been a competitive rower since 6th grade. Additionally, Zach is an active member of his community, volunteering with multiple service organizations and being involved in peer tutorting at Byram Hills.

Efobi carries a heavy course load filled with AP and college level classes and has been recognized as one of the top world language students in his school.
