Carmel lacrosse did something in the final week of the regular season than the program had never done before. And the Rams are now two wins away from achieving something far greater for the first time in history.
The Rams carried the momentum from last week’s first-ever win over Yorktown by posting a playoff victory at home on Monday. Second-seeded Carmel defeated No. 7 Arlington, 17-10, in the Section 1 Class A quarterfinals to move on to Thursday’s semis.
VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS:
Matthew Risley had six goals and two assists and Ryan Aabel added two goals and five assists for Carmel, which will host No. 3 Scarsdale on Thursday for the right to play in their first ever Section 1 championship game.
