Fox Lane got another big start from their ace, St. John’s commit Tyler Renz, in a huge 4-2 road win at Mamaroneck. The Foxes have taken 6 of their last 7 games, putting them at 8-2 overall, sitting in a virtual tie for the number one spot in our midseason Bracketology standings.
The other team at the top of the Class AA field is Harrison, who has rolled off 6 consecutive wins, including a 3-2 win over Fox Lane in the only regular season matchup of the two programs. Marco Citro and Keni Franck provide the Huskies with a powerful 1-2 combo at the top of their rotation.
While the Foxes and Huskies might lead the pack at the moment, Class AA has a staggering 11 teams sitting at .500 or better. Teams like Mahopac, Eastchester and Brewster are all contenders in what might be the deepest classification this season.
