Drew Ford provided an incredible header for a goal for Carmel on Monday — but only to be matched by an equally sensational finish by Ryder Goodman of Horace Greeley in the closing minutes.

Carmel and Horace Greeley played to a 1-1 tie in their boys soccer showdown at Carmel. Ford and Goodman provided the dramatic finishes here:

Ford’s goal came late in the first half off a feed from 40 yards out by Andy Kozlowicz. Carmel’s defense kept the Quakers at bay for 77 minutes until they finally broke through.

On a free kick from 50 yards out, Ben Falk sent a soaring pass that Goodman essentially converted with his back to the net, sending it through to salvage the draw.
