The NYSSWA released their large school All State football teams and local teams had plenty of representation across the lists. The first team was headlined by Co-Player of the Year Crew Davis of Iona Prep who is garnering D1 interest in both football and lacrosse. Joining Davis on the first team were teammates Rowan Byrne and Julian Guzman, as well as CHSAA rival DJ Williams of Stepinac and North Rockland’s Jaquan Johnson.
Along with Iona Prep, Stepinac, North Rockland and Mamaroneck were the only schools with multiple honorees.
Iona Prep’s Guzman and Carmel’s King Mercer were the only area underclassmen named to the All State lists.
