Johnson's 4 TDs lead North Rockland to the Class AA final

Jaquan Johnson added four more touchdowns to his impressive season total and North Rockland’s ride through 2024 lead the program into the Section 1 Championship game.

The Red Raiders upended Carmel, the three-time defending Class AA champions, convincingly at home on Friday night. Johnson accounted for all the scores, ran for over 200 yards to eclipsed 1,000 for the season, and had an interception on defense in the 28-0 victory in the Section 1 semifinal showdown.

Here are the highlights of the game:

North Rockland will take on Mamaroneck in the Class AA championship next Saturday, November 16, at Mahopac High School. Kickoff is at 6 pm and the game will be streamed live on NBC’s Sports Engine Play.

Mamaroneck, which upset Scarsdale on a field goal with no time left on Friday, defeated North Rockland back in Week 4 at home.
