Lakeland stays hot, beats rival Panas in girls volleyball

Lakeland won for the fourth time in five matches on Wednesday, sweeping district rival Walter Panas, 3-0, in a girls volleyball matchup at home.

Bella Ocampo led the way for the Hornets, posting 14 kills, seven digs, a block and an ace in the victory.

Lisa Balbona added eight kills and six digs and Katie Yager had 22 assists, 10 digs and a pair of aces for Lakeland, which has 3-0 victories over Nanuet, Yonkers, Hen Hud and now Panas since they started the season 1-3.
