No need to wait: Stepinac star Carbuccia confidently chooses UMass

Stepinac basketball standoug Danny Carbuccia didn’t see the need to prolong his recruiting process any longer. The point guard out of Yonkers knew UMass was where he wanted to be.

The 6-foot star for the Crusaders and PSA Cardinals announced his intention to play at the University of Massachusetts and coach Frank Martin, opting for the Minutemen in the end over Hofstra.

On Thursday morning we caught up with Carbuccia on his decision:
