Section 1 Football Playoffs are set: North Rockland, Somers, Rye, Westlake earn No. 1 seeds

The Section 1 football brackets were officially released on Saturday night — and all tournament seeds matched what was projected on GameDayOne.

North Rockland in Class AA, Rye and Somers in Class A and Westlake in Class B earned the No. 1 spots in their respective tournaments. All three classes will have eight-team fields with games kicking off on Friday night at the higher seeds.

Section 1 Football Tournament Brackets:

The Section 1 Championships are set for Nov. 15-16 at Mahopac High School. The schedule:

Friday, Nov. 15
Class D: Tuckahoe vs. Haldane, 3 pm
Class A, 6 pm
Saturday, Nov. 16
Class C, 12 pm
Class B, 3 pm
Class AA, 6 pm
