It’s game week in Section 1 football.

Many teams will kick off the 2025 campaign this weekend with Week 0 contests, led by Somers taking on Iona Prep on Sept. 6 in what might be the biggest game of the decade.

That game – and so many more throughout the season – will be streamed live on SportsEngine Play, the new home of LocalLive.
