Somers repeats? Rye and Harrison collision course. And more on the Class A Football Preview Show

KDJ and Frank Langella from FaM Sports return for the second episode of “GameDay One: The Show” to preview the Section 1 Class A Football season.

In this show, they discuss:

  • Somers attempting to win a fourth straight Section 1 title and a third state crown in a row. And how the Tuskers core of Miguel Iglesias, Dean Palazzolo and Mason Kelly take the reigns in the backfield and figure to be among Section 1’s most prolific teams.
  • Rye returning to Class A after winning the state title last season in Class B. With the likes of Chris Iuliano. Jake Kessner, Boo Miller, and Andrew Wilmarth, leading the way, the Garnets are a serious threat to Somers.
  • Harrison, despite beating Rye last season and reaching the Class A final, is somehow the forgotten team in the conference when it comes to contenders. But they Huskies, with defensive tackle Artin Baldemaj, and the skill players of Dante Lanza, Joe Crupi and others, have the talent to compete once again.
  • Yorktown, Mahopac, Clarkstown South and Eastchester all expect to be in the mix to compete for a playoff run.
  • And much more
