Weekend Lacrosse: John Jay CR Gets Road Win at Bronxville

John Jay CR took care of business on Saturday, keeping pace with Tappan Zee in the current Class C standings. With the win, the Wolves are at #3, sitting behind the Dutchmen and Hen Hud as we move into the final weeks of the regular season.

The Wolves went on the road to face perennial Class D contender Bronxville, and took home a 13-6 win lead by Luca Duva’s 4 goals and 2 assists. Justin Shapiro netted 5 in the victory, while Andrew Kiefer contributed 2 goals and 2 assists in a balanced attack.

The Wolves have a huge test ahead of them this week, as they take on Somers who sits at #3 in the most recent NYSSWA Class B state rankings.
