Woodlands Dominates Dryden in Class B Boys Basketball Regional Semifinal

Woodlands advanced to the NYSPHSAA Class B Semifinals for the second consecutive year with a 77-38 win over Section 4’s Dryden today at Vision Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Binghamton.

Despite a slow start, the Falcons started to turn up the defensive pressure in the second quarter, leading to an eventual 36-18 halftime lead. Woodlands would storm out of the gate after halftime, creating score after score from turnovers, putting the game out of reach in the third quarter with a 24-10 run.

Maxwell Abrahams was phenomenal, having his best all around game of the playoffs with 18 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. Jamison Stevens continued his strong play in the postseason with 14 points and 7 rebounds, while Aaron Woodberry added 17 points and 5 steals on the defensive end.
