Blind Brook Stays Hot Leading Into Key League Matchup at Bronxville

Blind Brook won their fourth game in a row on Tuesday with a 15-0 shut out at home against Hastings. The Trojans had ten different goal scorers, with sophomore Tyler Taerstein leading the way, netting four goals and adding three assists. Congratulations to senior, Michael Berman Annunziata on three goals and three assists, including his 200th career point.

Blind Brook currently sits at #5 in the Class D Bracketology Standings, but took care of #4 Dobbs Ferry at home last week 12-7. The Trojans now head to #6 Bronxville on Tuesday for a key matchup for playoff seeding.

The top tier of Class D Boys Lacrosse has been dominated by names Pleasantville, Bronxville, Westlake and Briarcliff for more than a decade. Bronxville sits at 5-5, but has played a schedule loaded with powerhouse public and private schools like Yorktown, Iona Prep, Mamaroneck, and Greenwich (CT).

Thursday’s matchup should be a solid litmus test for the Trojans to see where they stand among the elite programs in the Class. Watch Thursday’s game on LocalLive at 4:30pm
