Opening Statement: Bronxville impresses in win at Pleasantville (video)

Bronxville’s jump into Class B might not be as much of a leap as many expect.

The Broncos showed on Friday night how ready for the step in competition, going on the road and defeating Pleasantville, 33-7, in the season opener for both teams. Davis Patterson ran for a couple of touchdowns as Bronxville cruised after falling behind by a touchdown in the first quarter.

Brian Formato, Alex Napolitano and Thomas Freeman also ran for touchdowns in the win for Bronxville.

David Hundzynski scored the lone touchdown for Pleasantville.
