Video: Dobbs Ferry hopes to continue playoff run going in Class C final

On a weekend full of upsets, Dobbs Ferry maybe pulled off the most unexpected.

The Eagles went on the road and defeated Putnam Valley, 54-13, in the Section 1 Class C semifinals – just two weeks after an ugly loss to the Tigers in the regular season.

Kevin Hartnett ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson Kearns added 114 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries and also threw a 60-yard touchdown to Dylan Ravage. Killian O’Connor also topped 100 yards on the ground and scored a touchdown.

Dobbs Ferry next takes on top seed and unbeaten Valhalla for the Section 1 Class C championship. GameDay One caught up with the Eagles at practice this week:

Here’s the full schedule of Section 1 Championship games this weekend. All five games will be held at Mahopac High School.

Friday, November 15
Class D: Tuckahoe vs. Haldane, 3 pm
Class A: Rye vs. Somers, 6 pm

Saturday, November 16
Class C: Valhalla vs. Dobbs Ferry, noon
Class B: Ardsley vs. Pleasantville, 3 pm
Class AA: North Rockland vs. Mamaroneck, 6 pm
